Controversial design by Barbara Webster and Rochelle Jackson
As successful furniture shop in Cambodia construction materials informed, unlike most of the design that aim for an airy ambience with soft and understated tone, the presented kitchen designed by architect Barbara Webster and designer Rochelle Jackson introduced the hardly-seen-in-the-kitchen-design black color that represent both a contemporary aura and a point of different. "The kitchen receives plenty of natural light through lots of windows, so we knew it could handle a black floor," one of the owners said. "This in turn led to the decision to maintain the continuity with high-gloss black cabinetry. We wanted to introduce the wow factor." The kitchen also features flush doors and drawers for the cabinetry with no handle to achieve a clean-lined flow that helps maximize the bold hue. White quartz tops for island and white painted low-ion glass also helps breaks up the overwhelming sensation of this dramatic impact.
